Isonomeutis amauropa is a moth of the Copromorphidae family. It is endemic to New Zealand, where it is widespread and moderately common.
The larvae are predatory, feeding on margarodid scale insects under the bark of trees such as Dacrydium cupressinum and beech.[2] They are light yellowish-pink with a brown head. Pupation takes place in a tough cocoon.
